Truck Driver - VBN Idaho
General Responsibility Statement
This position is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of all-natural animal feed and mineral mixes to our customers. The truck driver will be tasked with driving and maintaining trucks as assigned, as well as working closely with the team to plan routes and track deliveries.
Essential Job Responsibilities
The essential job responsibilities consist of the following:
1. Truck Driving Requirements
a. Drive to delvier goods to customers from Idaho to Washington state, and other close-range deliveries.
b. Keep activities log and log hours.
c. Load and unload cargo.
d. Refuel and clean the vehicle.
e. Plan trips accordingly to ensure on time delivery to customers. < br>
2. Compliance Requirements
f. Pass drug and alcohol test.
g. Follow all traffic laws.
h. Inspect trucks and record issues.
i. Report mechanical problems.
j. Report road incidents to Mill Manager.
k. Maintain medical certificate.
l. Maintain a clean driving record and twice annually ran MVRs.
3. Other Duties
a. This position shall support its manager and shall ensure that all department members are cross trained on the position responsibilities.
b. Willing to receive input and direction from all members of the Executive team.

Education, Reasoning Ability & Experience
Class A CDL required. Keep CDL up to date. High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Minimum 2 years’ experience required.

This position does require some overnight travel.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Required to sit and use computer, handle paperwork, also to stand and use hands and fingers to grasp and hold objects, tools and/or controls, likewise reach with arms and hands. The employee is also, at times, exposed to fumes and or airborne particulates.
This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.
